About Me

General

I am an American astrophysicist running around Europe. I received my PhD in astrophysics from the Institute of Astronomy at KU Leuven (Leuven, Belgium) in May 2020. Currently, I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute for Mathematics, Astrophysics and Particle Physics at Radboud University in Nijmegen, The Netherlands.

Academia

I was born in New York, USA to an eclectic family of cooks and went on to get my Bachelor’s Degree in Astronomy & Astrophysics from Villanova University in 2014, before moving to Leuven, Belgium for my MSc and PhD in Astrophysics (2015-2020). I worked at KU Leuven as a postdoctoral researcher for ~1yr before moving to Radboud University in July 2021.

Outside of work, I like to cycle, run, hike, and I have very strong opinions about where you can find the best pizza (New York), the best beer (Belgium), and the best frietjes (also Belgium).
